BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
A ORDINANCE RE-ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OF MAX W.
STEINER AND SANDRA R. STEINER TO C-3 COMMERCIAL,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following property, formerly zoned R-2 , be and
the same hereby is zoned C-3 Commercial located within the
City of Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas, to-wit:
A tract of land being part of the NE 1/4 of the
SW 1/4 of Section 15, Township 13 North, Range 6
West of the Fifth Principal Meridian in the City
of Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as follows: Commencing at
�. the Northwest corner of the SW 1/4 of said Section
15; thence run South a distance of 35 feet;
thence run East a distance of 1650. 0 feet to the
East R/W line of 24th Street; thence run South
00 degrees 53 minutes 00 seconds West along said
East R/W line, a distance of 300. 00 feet to the
point of beginning; thence run South 88 degrees
47 minutes 10 seconds East a distance of 140 . 0
feet; thence run South 00 degrees 53 minutes 00
seconds West- a distance of 70. 0 feet; thence
run North 88 degrees 47 minutes 10 seconds
West a distance of 140. 0 feet to the East R/W
line of 24th Street; thence run North 00 degrees
53 minutes 00 seconds East along said East R/W
line a distance of 70. 0 feet to the point of
beginning.
2 . That the Batesville Planning and Zoning Commission
has recommended that the above described city property be
zoned as set forth above.
