AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #863; CHANGING THE NAMIE OF
CARDINAL STREET TO MEADOW LARK STREET; CHANGING THE Nt'V),E OF
MEADOW LARK STREET TO CARDINAL STREET; DESIGNATING AND NAMING
A STREET CHANTEY DRIVE; DECLARING Ami EMERGENCY AND FOR THE
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BA.TESVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. That the street originally designated and named Glynn Street
and changed to Cardinal Street by Ordinance #863 is hereby
changed to 24.eadow .Lark Street.
2. That the street originally designated and named Lynn Street
and charged to "?eadow Lark Street by Crdinance #x863 is hereby
charged to Cardinal Street.
3. That Chane- Drive shall be that street beginning c;._ the
East line of St. Louis Street and terminating at the Batesville
High School, as shown on the attached plat.
4. That Ordinance #863, so far as it is in conflict herewith,
is hereby repealed.
5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
6. EMERGENCY CLAUSE: That the above named streets have been
confused by the public and such confusion has created a danger
in providing adequate police and fire protection for those
areas, therefore, an emergency is hereby declared and this
ordinance being necessary for the preservation of public Peace,
health and safety shall- be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its passage.
