AN
-3-IO-ZAN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION
PART OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER (NE4, ) of SECTION 14 ,
TOWNSHIP 13 NORTH, RANGE 6 WEST.
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission for the City of
Batesville , Arkansas , held a public hearing on October 4 , 1983 ,
upon the application of James Douglas Hill and Lynnie Sue Hill
for the zoning of the following described property :
A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter
of Section 14 , Township 13 North, Range
6 West , Independence County , Arkansas ,
more particularly described as follows :
Commencing at the Southwest Corner of
Lot 29 of Big Pine Addition; thence S 690
• 52127" E a distance of 78 . 36 feet ; thence
S 1041108" W a distance of 100 feet to
the Point of Beginning; thence S 1041108"
W a distance of 711. 96 feet to a point on
the North Right of Way line of State
Highway #69; thence N 71037 ' 4011 W along :.
said North Right of Way line a distance
of 315 . 34 feet ; thence on a curve to the
left having a radius of 3099. 75 feet along
said North Right of Way line , a curve
distance of 368 . 07 feet ; thence N 104116"
E a distance of approximately 700 feet ;
thence S 71°3714011 E a distance of approxi-
mately 700 feet to the Point of Beginning.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing held after proper
publication of notice the Planning Commission found that the
application was proper in all respects and determined that the
said property should be zoned C-2 commercial; and
WHEREAS, the said property was previously R-1
Residential and that the zoning classification should be changed
to C-2 Commercial;
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED that aforesaid property should
be and hereby is zoned C-2 commercial as that term is presently
defined in the zoning laws of the City of Batesville.
