AN ORDINANCE NAMING A CERTAIN STREET BARNETT DRIVE,
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansas :
1. That a certain street located east of Poke Bayou and running north
from U. S. Highway #167 to State Highway #69B and the boundary lines of the
City limits of the City of Batesville, and having heretofore been un-named,
this street is hereby named and shall hereinafter be known as Barnett Drive.
2. That this ordinance is necessary for the proper delivery of mail
and other vital services including prompt fire and police protection of this
area and it further being necesary for the protection of the public health ,
safety and welfare an emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance is to
be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
