AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY BARBARA
JONES FROM R-2 TO C-3, SAID PROPERTY BEING LOCATED IN SECTION 16,
TOWNSHIP 13 NORTH, RANGE 6 WEST, INDEPENDENCE COUNTY, ARKANSAS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 : That Lots 4 , 5 and 6 of Block 1 of Moore' s
Eastern Addition to the City of Batesville, Independence County,
Arkansas shall be and are hereby rezoned from Residential R-2
to Commercial C-3 .
• Section 2 : A copy of this Ordinance shall be filed by the
City Clerk of the City of Batesville, Arkansas in the office of
the Recorder of Deeds of this County and recorded in the Deed
Record Books of Independence County.
Section 3 : That the City Clerk shall cause the official
zoning map of the City of Batesville, Arkansas to note the change
effected hereby.
Section 4 : That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5 : IT IS HEREBY FOUND AND DECLARED THAT AN
EMERGENCY EXISTS AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE
AND EFFECT FROM THE DATE OF ITS PASSAGE FOR THE NECESSARY
PROTECTION OF THE CITY' S HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE.
PASSED and adopted this 9th day of December, 1986.
