ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING TANGLEWOOD STREET IN THE CITY OF <br /> BATESVILLE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville is granted the authority through the City <br /> Council to extend public ways and continue the existing names upon said ex- <br /> tension, and <br /> WHEREAS, there currently exists a Tanglewood Street in the City of Bates- <br /> ville, and an unnamed extension of said street exists to the point where the <br /> extension intercepts Harrison Street in the City of Batesville, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City for purposes of conven- <br /> ience and continuity to extend Tanglewood Street from the point that it cur- <br /> rently exists to the point where it intercepts Harrison Street. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATES- <br /> VILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT: <br /> ® Section 1: Tanglewood Street in the City of Batesville, Arkansas, shall <br /> be extended from its present point to the point where said Tanglewood Street <br /> intercepts Harrison Street under the authority granted by the Batesville <br /> Municipal Code, Section 9. 32.01. <br /> Section 2: All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are repealed but only to the extent of such conflict. <br /> Section 3: This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation <br /> of the health, safety and welfare of the City, an emergency is hereby declared <br /> and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage. <br /> PASSED this day of 9 y ci,1 1987. <br /> APPROVED: <br /> Q or <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> • <br />
