AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING TANGLEWOOD STREET IN THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville is granted the authority through the City
Council to extend public ways and continue the existing names upon said ex-
tension, and
WHEREAS, there currently exists a Tanglewood Street in the City of Bates-
ville, and an unnamed extension of said street exists to the point where the
extension intercepts Harrison Street in the City of Batesville, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City for purposes of conven-
ience and continuity to extend Tanglewood Street from the point that it cur-
rently exists to the point where it intercepts Harrison Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATES-
VILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
® Section 1: Tanglewood Street in the City of Batesville, Arkansas, shall
be extended from its present point to the point where said Tanglewood Street
intercepts Harrison Street under the authority granted by the Batesville
Municipal Code, Section 9. 32.01.
Section 2: All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed but only to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3: This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation
of the health, safety and welfare of the City, an emergency is hereby declared
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage.
