AN ORDINANCE NAMING STONECREST LANE IN THE CITY OF BATESVILLE.
INDEPENDENCE COUNTY, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Batesville has the authority to
name streets under she provision of Section 9. 32.01 of the Batesville Municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, there currently exists in the City of Batesville a currently
platted, but unnamed street described as:
A currently platted, unnamed street extending in a south -
easterly direction from its beginning on the southern
boundary line of Quail Valley Drive to its terminal point
in the City of Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the residents of that area and it is in the
best interest of the City of Batesville that the street be named Stonecrest
Lane.
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED AND RESOLVED that the street described herein-
above shall be named and henceforth known as Stonecrest Lane and that the
Clerk should be and hereby is directed to note on the street map of the City
of Batesville.
