RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE
CERTIFYING LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF BUSINESS TO
PARTICIPATE IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville has an approved Zone designation
for Enumeration District #E1145 within the corporate limits of
the City of Batesville; and
WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business or
enterprise to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone
Program and benefit from the exemptions as provided in Part IV
of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1983; and
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific forms
available from AIDC; and
WHEREAS, Ideal Baking Company, Inc., has been determined by the
management of the enterprise zone as an appropriate applicant;
and
WHEREAS, Ideal Baking Company, Inc., has agreed to furnish the
management of the enterprise zone all necessary information for
fir► compliance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT;
1 . Ideal Baking Company, Inc., be endorsed by the City of
Batesville for benefit from the exemptions as provided in
Part IV of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations
of 1983.
2. The Mayor be authorized to sign the Certificate of Local
Government Endorsement.
3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
