A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO ACT WITH RESPECT TO
A GRANT FROM THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION FOR
SEWER IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville. Arkansas. has
received notification of funding approval from the Economic
Development Administration. Said grant will be used for
activities associated with expansion of the city's sewer system.
WHEREAS. it will be necessary for the Mayor to act
with respect to the grant agreement with the Economic
Development Administration and various engineering and
construction contracts and other related documents.
NOW. THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the Batesville
City Council hereby declares that Mayor Jim Shirrell is
authorized to execute the grant agreement with the Economic
Development Administration and to handle all matters related to
the execution of the activities set forth in such document.
