A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS TO ACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY CONCERNING THE
PURCHASE OF PROPERTY ADJOINING KENNEDY PARK.
WHEREAS, the Batesville City Council has determined that the interest of
the citizens of Batesville will best be served with the expansion of Kennedy
Park, and;
WHEREAS, approximately four (4) acres adjoining Kennedy Park are available
at a price of Five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($5,500.00) ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to act on behalf of the City of Batesville in acquiring the prop-
erty. The Mayor and City Clerk are further authorized to sign all documents
necessary for the acquisition of/the
f�property.
