(W RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WITH
VINSON CONSTRUCTION, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville has been awarded funds from
the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism through the
Department of the Interior; and
WHEREAS, the grant provided partial funding for the
construction of a pavilion and related activities.
WHEREAS, it will be necessary for the Mayor to act in behalf
of the City in signing the contract documents.
(W NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Batesville City Council
hereby authorizes the Mayor to approve and sign the contract
documents with Vinson Construction, Inc. of Batesville, Arkansas,
for the construction of restroom facilities and a pavilion at
Riverside Park. Said contract amount shall not exceed thirty-four
thousand, seven hundred dollars ( $34 , 700 ) without an approved
change order.
