RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE
CERM.FYING LOCAL GOVERNMERr ENDORSEMERr OF DOWEIL TRANSPORT TO
PARTICIPATE IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM
WEREAS, the City of Batesville has an approved Zone
designation for Enumeration District 1149A within the corporate
limits of the City of Batesville; and
MMMAS, the local goverrmLent must endorse a business or
enterprise to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone
Program and benefit from the exemptions as provided in Part IV
of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1983; and
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific form
available from AIDC; and
MEREM, Dowell Transport has sought to participate in the
program and has been determined by the management of the
enterprise zone an appropriate applicant; and eligible for the
benefits thereof, and more specifically has reqiested benefits
accruing frcm location of their facility; and
WHEFEM, Dowell Transport has agreed to furnish the
management of the enterprise zone all necessary information for
compliance.
NOW, THM2CRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. Dowell Transport be endorsed by the City of Batesville
for benefit from the refunds/exemptions as provided in
Part IV of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program
Regulations of 1983.
2. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
