A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE TO REQUEST STATE-AID
STREET FUNDS FROM THE DIRECTOR OF HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, Act 436 og 1979 appnop& aced 6pecia.Q. bunds to the
Muni.c%pat Aid bund to be d ustn i uted in accordance with Act 5(a) o6
the Anhansa6 Highway Revenue Distxi,but i.on Law, and
WHEREAS, the City undeutan6 that these 6und6 are to be
used 6o,% the expness ed punpos es o6 matching the City'.6 6 have o6
State-Aid Street bunds and bon city 6tneet maintenance, and
WHEREAS, the City o6 Bate6vitte to.0 use its Aare o6 6und6
received 64om the Municipal Aid bund to match a t ava tabte moniu
due it brom the State-Aid Street Account, and
WHEREAS, the City centi 6i.e- that an emergency exi,6t6 and
it w.c tt u6a aft 6un&s made avaitabte under this Act to 6inance city-
wide

wi.de maintenance, and
WHEREAS, the City hereby cexti 6i.e s that it wilt mac.nta<`.n ade-
quate records to document a t expenditures o4 these funds 6or mainte-
nance a6 .bet Soar th .iA thi.6 Res otut i.on and maize these %ecord6 ava tabte
(W to audit by the State upon request.
NOW THEREFORE, the Mayon o6 the City o6 Bate6 v.i lte -ins hereby
directed to request .in accordance with this Rebotuti.on the City'e 6ai&
share o6 Sunds presentty maintained in the State-Aid Street Account.
