A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BATESVILLE TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE AND U. S. RECYCLE CORPORATION AND CONSUMAT SYSTEMS, INC.
PROVIDING FOR THE PURCHASE BY THE CITY FROM U. S. RECYCLE CORPORATION
AND CONSUMAT SYSTEM, INC. AN ENERGY-FROM-WASTE SYSTEM AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansas
as follows:
(1) That the City Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansas
having considered a proposed contract for sale of an Energy-from-Waste
System (an incinerator system) from U. S. Recycle Corporation and
Consumat Systems, Inc. and the City Council having determined that
said contract meets with their approval and that said contract is in
the best interest of the City of Batesville, the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute the above said contract, a copy of
which is attached, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof as though
fully set out herein word for word.
