RESOLUTION NO . 7y y
WHEREAS, an unincorporated association has petitioned
the City Council of Batesville , Arkansas for its support and
endorsement of a proposal for construction of a cultural and
heritage center to be constructed in the City of Batesville , and
for designation by the City of an individual to serve on the
Board of Trustees ;
BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Batesville that the City
of Batesville, by and through the City Council , does hereby approve
and endorse the proposal for construction without cost to the City
of Batesville of a cultural and heritage center within the City
of Batesville ; and that the City Council nominate for appointment
by the Mayor a member to serve on the Board of Trustees of the
unincorporated association, later to serve as a member of the
Board of Directors of a successor nonprofit corporation.
