A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE REFERRAL OF ORDINANCE Nu. TO A VOTE OF
THE PROPLE OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS:
WHEREAS, An orlin-nc- ha- been proposed to the Cit- Co-ncil of trip City of
Batesville, ArKansas, for the abolishment of the Civil Service CommiRsion, anti
WHEREAS, The city Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansaq de-irps
that the peonle of the City of Batesville. Arkansas be given the chance to
approve or disapprove this ordinance before it takes eftect-
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE uITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
i. That the City Council of the City of Batpsville, Arkansas herebv
refers propped ordinance if q32 , a certified copy of which is attached
hereto, to a vote of the people of �he City of Batesville, Arkansas, at
the November 4, 1980 General Election.
2, That the Independence County Board of Election Commissioners
shall be notified of said referral and they shall be requested to place the
same on the November 4, 1980 General Election Ballot titled as follows:
