A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1982 BUDGET TO PROVIDE FOR PAYMENT OF
EXPENSES AND SALARIES OF THREE (3) ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER FIREMEN
WHEREAS , the 1982 budget provides for a monthly expenditure of
Fourteen Hundred Dollars ($1, 400. 00) for the expenses in salaries
of eighteen (18) volunteer firemen; and,
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansas has
determined that there is a need for three (3) additional voluntee
firemen increasing the strength of the Batesville Fire Department
to twenty-one (21) volunteer firemen; and
WHEREAS , the total monthly appropriation for the 1982 budget for
payment of volunteer firemen should be One Thousand Six Hundred
Thirty-three Dollars and Seventeen Cents ($1, 633 . 17) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF1
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1: That the 1982 budget is hereby amended to provide for
payment of three (3) additional volunteer firemen bringing the
total of volunteer firemen up to the number of twenty-one (21)
volunteer firemen and the 1982 monthly budget appropriation is
hereby increased to the sum of One Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-
three Dollars and Seventeen Cents ($1, 633 . 17) .
