At a meeting of the City Council of the City of
Batesville, Arkansas, duly held on the _Zg:2 dal of
June, 1952, the following Resolution was adorted:
"Whereas , there has been presented to this body
the petition of T .O.Collins and Irene Collin,bLis wife, K.W.
Prickett and Roxana Prickett, his wife, sh@wing that said
Collins and wife are the owners of all of Block 4 of Old Tovn
Al. dition tc, the City of Batesville., Arkansas that lies west of
the right of way of Missouri Pacific Railroad; that said Prickett
and wife are the owners of all of Block 1 to Old Town Addition
to the City of Batesville, Arkansas; said petitioners praying
that the follow!-nportions of streets dividing and adjoining
said properties be abandoned, and title thereto vested in
said petitioners to-wit:
l.Bean Street from its intersection with Main Street
north to Polk Bayou;
2. That portion of Front Street which lies between
said properties (or either of them) and Polk Bayou.
HE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City Clerk give notice
by publication once a week for two weeks in some newspaper
published in IndependenceCourty, Arkansas advising the property
owners affected that on a day therein named the City Council
will hear said petition and determine whether all abutting
property owners and other persons directly interested have
consented to such abandonment.
By vote of a majority of the members of the City Council
the above resolution was duly adopted.

Batesville, Arkansas:
Your petitioners, T. 0. Collins and Irene Collins, his wife

in the City of Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas, to-wit: �
All of Block 4 of Old Town Additinn to the City of Batesville
which lies west of the right of way of Missouri-Pacific Railroadoll

Petitioners pray that the City of Batesville ebandbn said
Rean Street from its intersection with Main street north to
Polk Bayou, and that portion of Front, . Strelet west of the right
of way of Missouri Pacific Railroad.
Petitioners further pray that title to the lands upon which

1. In the petitioners T.O.Collins and Irene Collins, his
wife, the east half of Bean Street from Its intersection with
Main Street north to Polk Bayou, and all of Front Street east
of the right of Wal)T of Missouri Pacific Railroad to the center liie

2. In the petitionersN.W. Prickett and Roxana Prickett, his
wife.- the west half of Bean Street from Its intersection with
Main St. north to Polk Bayou, and all of Front sreet West of the
