WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Batesville, Ark.
has embarked upon a policy designed to place the lots in Oaklawn
Cemetery under J)epetua1 care in so far as the same is possible
and;
WHEREAS, a great need exists to take whatever measures are
necessary to facilitate the placing of lots under pepetual care
and the present policy of the City to accept dedications of stock
certificates from only two sources may have some limiting affect
on the placing of lots undar�pegtee�ua4l*"' care;
NOW TH7R-EFORE BE IT R'E'SOLVED FY THE CITY COU71TCIL OF THE CIT
OF BATESVILLEARKANSAS:
That from and after the passage of this resolution the City
�w of Batesville, in addition to accepting dedications of stock certi-,
ficates from the present sources, will also accept dedications of
Certificates of Deposit from both The Citizens Bank of Batesville
and The First National Bank of Batesville provided that said
Certificates of Deposit so dedicated shall be in not less than
the sum of and for such other greater sums as are

needed for pepa . care, depending upon the number of lots placed

thereunder by such dedication.
