IUSOLUTION APPROVING COOPERATION AWNDMENT WITH TAA HOUSING

1. The Amendment to the Cooperation Agreement
between the city of Batesville, Arkansas and
the Mousing Authority of the City of Batesville,
Arkansas, dated �, is hereby
approved.
2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby author-
ized and directed to execute the Cooperation
(W Agreement Amendrtxent in the name of and behalf
of the City of Batesville:.
3. This resolution shall become effective immediately.
4. The Amendment to the Cooperation Agreement referred
to in Section l above is in the following form to
wit:
wHzmAs, on the 10th day of September, 1965, the City
of Batesville, Arkansas, (Herein called the *Municipality") and
the dousing Authority of the City of Batesville, Arkansas ,
(Herein called the "Local Authority") entered into a Cooperation
Agreement (Herein called "Agreement") whereby the local Authority
agreed to undertake the development of thirty (30) low-rent
housing units for the elderly and the Municirelity agreed to

assist and cooperate with the Local Authority in such
development3 and
WHEREAS, the Municipality and the Local Authority
are desirous of increasing the number of dwelling units
included in the Agreement.
NoWf THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the
promises it is agreed as follows:
SECTION 2 of the Agreement is hereby amended to read:
02. The Local Authority shall endeavor (a) to secure
a contract with the FHA for loans and annual
contributions covering one project comprising
of 135 units of low-rent housing consisting of
60 units for the elderly and 75 general units,
and (b) to develop and administer such Project
which shall be located within the corporate
limits of the Municipality. The obligations
of the parties hereto shall apply to such
Project."
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Municipality and the Local
Authority have respectively caused this Amendment to be duly
executed as of the 8th day of April, 1969.
