BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLEj, ARKANSAS
RESOLUTION NO.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE , ARKANSAS
as follows:
(a) That the following proposed Ordinance be
referred to the voters of Batesville, Arkansas at the
General Election,, to be held in November, 1970.
(b) The Ordinance is as follows:
"A proposed Ordinance to repeal all dog
leash laws in the City of Batesville,
Arkansas be enacted by the people of
the Town of Batesville, Arkansas.
1. Dogs shall be allowed to run at
large in the City of Batesville ,
�W Arkansas.
2. All leash laws requiring dogs to
be penned, tied or under leash are
hereby repealed.
3. Laws requiring theNaccination of dogs
shall not in any way be affected by
this Ordinance. "
(c) The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby autho-
rized to take all necessary action to put this on the General
Election Ballot.
