RESOLUTION N0. 6d4
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS:
(1) Chief of police Jim Mitchum has tendered
his resignation after more than 20 years
of service with the Batesville Police
Department.
(2) The City Council finds that his services
were performed faithfully and untiringly
during all this time and the affairs of
office carried on in a business and work-
manlike manner with good judgment and
discretion being exercised by Cheif Mitchum.
(3) The City Council expresses its genuine
appreciation to Chief Mitchum for his long
service and accepts his resignation with
(W regret.
(4) A copy of this resolution duly executed and
sealed shall be furnished Mr.
Mitchum.
