BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS it is determined by the City Council that
the old water filter plant is not being used nor is it useful
to the City and,
WHEREAS it would be to the best interest of the
City that some constructive use be made of the property, now
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS , AS
FOLLOWS :
(W 1. The City of Batesville hereby leases to the
Alcoholic Recovery Center, Inc. the following described property
upon the terms and conditions as set out in the lease attached
hereto and incorporated by reference herein as though set out
fully word for word.
A part of the Southeast Quarter (SEQ) of Section 17 ,
Township 13 North, Range 6 West, in the City of BAtes-
ville, and described by metes and bounds , thus :
Starting at the intersection of Spring and Lawrence
Streets (on the North side of Lawrence and the East
side of Spring) ;
Thence South one half degree West along the East side
of Spring Street 591 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING
of the parcel herein conveyed;
Thence South onehalf degree West 64 feet and 8 inches;
Thence South 38Z degrees East 28 feet and 10 inches ;
Thence North a degree East 86 feet and 6 inches ;
Thence North 894 degrees West 250 feet to the place
of beginning.
The same being a portion out of the Southwest Corner
of a certain tract of 5. 95 acres conveyed by A.H.
�Irrr Joblin and wife to J.W. Ferrill and W.A. Rutherford
and containing 21,418 square feet more or less the
same now designated as Lot 3 , Block 3 , Cotton Yard
Subdivision of the city of Batesville

2. The mayor and city clerk are authorized and empowered
and directed to sign and affix the name of the city to said lease.
