BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
RESOLUTION NO. (p J
WHEREAS, N.U. Carpenter has submitted his request for retire-
ment from the office of city clerk of Batesville, Arkansas,
and;
WHEREAS, Mr. Carpenter has served faithfully and diligently
as clerk during his tenure;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the city council publicly by this resolution
expresses its deep appreciation for the tireless service N.U.
Carpenter has rendered the city of Batesville.
2. That the resignation of N.U. Carpenter is accepted
but only regret.
3. This resolution is ordered spread upon the minutes
of the city council of Batesville, Arkansas.
