WHEREAS the Commissions of the City of Batesville are charged with
taking care of many of the City' s problems and charting the progress of
the City, and
WHEREAS as the decisions of these Commissions affect the lives and
plans of the people of the City, and
WHEREAS the people are entitiled to know what is happening in their
government
BE IT THEUUFORE RESOLVED that t1-1c City Council of the City of Batl-!sville
City
requests that the various commissions of the/ instruct their individual
secretaries to mail a copy of the minutes of the Commissions meetings to
the City Council, the local newspaper and the local radio station for use
as the Council and Media sees fit.
LThe City Council further requests that these minutes be mailed
within 72 hours after the meeting.
BE IT FURTHER RES,.')LVED that the City Council request that the
local newspaper print the schedule of the meeting time of the varioiis
City Govering groups and agencies once each month.
