BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE
RESOLUTION N0. "'/ 4 .
A RESOLUTION TO INSTALL ADDITIONAL PARKING METERS IN THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That there is an urgent need for additional parking
spaces in and around downtown Batesville, and
2, That to place meters with longer time allowed in the
outlying areas, by relieving pressure of "longtime" parking in
4W central downtown, will go far toward relieving the situation;
NOW THEREFORE be it further resolved by the City Council that
parking meters be placed on the east side of Broad Street from
Boswell Street to River Street, on the north side of College
Street from Central Avenue to Sixth Street, and in front of
Bailey Ford Sales,/-,, 7'h 4 �.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 7, DAY OF OCTOBER, 1973.
