The Batesville City Council met in regular session at City Hall,
Batesville, Arlmsas at 7:00 P.M. an the 24th day of August, 1976. A majority
of council redxws were present with Mayor Peyton rblden presiding:

MTREAS, the Batesville Utilities Commission Inas deened it necessary
far the City of Batesville to anter into a lease arrangement with Missouri
Pacific Railroad Cly to place, insudl, and erect a new 10 inch sewer
line an said railroad property located within the corporate limits of this city
" particularly described in said lease agreement which is referred to by
Ireference as tho set out word for word herein.
1"W WfMTd A,.S, the cxonstructian of the new White River Bridge and its
approacbes necessitated this lease arrangement.
AiWAS, the City of Batesville understands that the costs of this
lease agreeiment shall be a one time 51,800.00 fee and a $100.0O clerical fee;
that the City of Batesville agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of
said lease.
NOW 71TRMRE, BE rr FYSMVF.D by the City of Batesville, Arkansas }
that upon the recomrondation of the Batesville Utilities Commission, and
majority vote of said council the City of Batesville e�ecute a lease with the
souri pacific Railroad for installation of a new sewer line in conformity
with terms and conditions set forth therein.
