FOR THE CITY OF B ES ILLE, ARKANSAS
A RESOLUTION ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS , CER-
TAIN LANDS LYING IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER
OF SECTION FIFTEEN (15) , TOWNSHIP THIRTEEN (13) NORTH, RANGE SIX
(6) WEST, OF THE FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN.
WHEREAS, the County Court of Independence County, Arkansas ,
has entered its order annexing to the City of Batesville, Arkansas
the following described lands :
A tract of land being part of the Southwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section
Fifteen (15) in Township Thirteen (13) North
and Range Six (6) West of the Fifth Principal
Meridian (SW4 SE4 Sec. 15 , T13N, R6W, 5th P .M. )
in the City of Batesville, Independence County,
Arkansas more particularly described as follows :
Commencing at the South Quarter of Section corner
of said Sec . 15;
thence North a distance of 1, 084. 32 feet;
thence East a distance of 636 . 58 feet to a point
It on the East Right-of-Way Line of Dogwood Drive
and the Point of Beginning;
thence N 27 degrees 34 feet 00 inches East along
said East Right-of-Way Line, a distance of 70 . 00
feet ;
thence S 63 degrees 30 feet 00 inches East , a
distance of 126 . 22 feet;
thence South 27 degrees 34 feet 00 inches West,
a distance of 70 . 00 feet;
thence N 63 degrees 30 feet 00 inches West, a
distance of 126 . 22 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 0 . 20 acres, more or less .
WHEREAS that prior to the entry of the Order of Annexation by
the County Court of Independence County, Arkansas , the notice of
the Petition for Annexation having been filed and published in
accordance with the laws of the State of ARkansas ; and
WHEREAS there having been no objections to the annexation after
the entry of the Order of Annexation; and
WHEREAS, the County Court of Independence County, Arkansas , has
entered its order of confirmation of the annexation ; and
WHEREAS, it is now proper and desirable that said lands be
annexed to the City of Batesville, Arkansas , therefore, be it
hereby resolved that the above described lands should be, and they
are hereby aknexed to the City of Batesville, Arkansas , and from
and after this date all the inhabitants thereof shall have and
enjoy all the rights and privileges as citizens fo the City of
Batesville, Arkansas .
