A resolution adopting Standard Operating Guidelines for Batesville Fire
Department; and for other Purposes
Whereas, the city of Batesville Fire Department wants to streamline
operations;
Whereas, the fire department desires a written document of Standard
Operating Guidelines (SOG's);
Whereas, the fire department needs to be free to change these guidelines
as needed without first seeking the approval of the city council;
Whereas, the city council finds and determines that the adoption of the
said SOG's is in the best interest of the citizens of Batesville.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Batesville Fire Department Standard Operating
Guidelines, Dated July 14, 2015 are hereby adopted by reference with the
understanding that the fire department has the authority to change these
Guidelines without city council approval and that the department will
provide the council with updated Guidelines as changes are made.
