A RESOLUTION TO REVISE THE BATESVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHERAS, the Batesville Planning Commission conducted properly advertised
public hearings on August, 17, 2015 to consider the desirability of making revisions to
the Comprehensive Plan (SEE EXHIBIT A); and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, determined that such revisions and updates
were appropriate and in the best interest of the citizens of Batesville; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted to amend the Comprehensive Plan to
further the objectives of the Plan; and,
WHEREAS, THE Planning Commission has further recommended to the Batesville
City Council that it adopt said revisions and updates to the Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS
THAT, the revision to the Batesville Comprehensive Plan as prepared and recommended
by the Planning Commission be, and hereby are adopted.
ADOPTED THIS 24TH DAY OF AUGUST 2015.
