RESOLUTION NO.J01 6 —0 1-01 <br /> -� <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br /> THE MAYOR OF BATESVILLE <br /> TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION <br /> TO THE ARKANSAS ECONOMIC <br /> DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> FOR AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, Batesville is applying to the State of Arkansas for an Arkansas Community <br /> and Economic Development grant for an economic development project to benefit Bad Boy <br /> Mowers, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as part of the application <br /> requirements; and <br /> WHEREAS, Batesville has conducted the required public hearing as part of the <br /> application process to receive and consider comments on community development and housing <br /> needs, and and proposed activities; and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of the first public hearing, Batesville has identified and <br /> prioritized the community development and housing needs; <br /> THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor is authorized to submit an application to the <br /> State of Arkansas on behalf of Bad Boy Mowers to expend funds for the economic development <br /> project, if the grant is awarded. <br /> ENTERED this U — day of January,2016. <br /> Mayor <br /> City Clerk <br />
