A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR OF BATESVILLE
TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION
TO THE ARKANSAS ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
FOR AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
PROJECT
WHEREAS, Batesville is applying to the State of Arkansas for an Arkansas Community
and Economic Development grant for an economic development project to benefit Bad Boy
Mowers, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as part of the application
requirements; and
WHEREAS, Batesville has conducted the required public hearing as part of the
application process to receive and consider comments on community development and housing
needs, and and proposed activities; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the first public hearing, Batesville has identified and
prioritized the community development and housing needs;
THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor is authorized to submit an application to the
State of Arkansas on behalf of Bad Boy Mowers to expend funds for the economic development
project, if the grant is awarded.
