FOR THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
ORDINANCE NO.
An ordinance rezoning Lots 1, 2, 9 and 10, Block 8,
School Addition from R-3 residential to C-lA commercial.
WHEREAS, the owners of Lots 1, 2, 9 and 10, Block 8,
School Addition to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, have
requested the rezoning of said lots from R-3 residential to C-lA
commercial and have made application for said rezoning in the
proper manner; and
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held by the Planning
Commission for the City of Batesville after proper notice having
been published for the time and in the manner required by law;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Batesville
has received reports and recommendations from the Planning
Commission as required by law and has by majority vote decided
that the property should be rezoned from R-3 residential to C -IA
commercial; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary in order to carry out the vote
of the City Council in rezoning the property that an ordinance
be passed and approved by the City Council for the City of
Batesville, Arkansas, and published as required by law;
BE IT NOW ORDAINED:
Lots 1, 2, 9 and 10 should be, and they hereby are,
rezoned to the classification of C -IA commercial;
That this ordinance should be published one time in a
newspaper having a general circulation in Independence County,
Arkansas.
