FOR THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
ORDINANCE NO.
An ordinance rezoning a part of Lot Two (2) in Block Two
(2) of Cotton Yard Addition to the City of Batesville, Arkansas,
according to plat of said Addition shown in Deed Record "T-5"
page 634, in the office of the recorder of Independence County,
Arkansas.
WHEREAS, the owners of the above described property have
requested the rezoning of said property from R-3 residential to
C-2 commercial and have made application for said rezoning in
the proper manner; and
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held by the Planning
Commission for the City of Batesville after proper notice having
been published for the time and in the manner required by law; anc
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Batesville has
received reports and recommendations from the Planning Commission
as required by law and y--ority- vote -decided that the
property should be rezoned from R-3 resident to C-2 commercial;
WHEREAS, it is necessary in order to carry out the vote of
the City Council in rezoning the property that an ordinance be
passed and approved by the City Council for the City of Batesvillel,
Arkansas, and published as required by law;
BE IT NOW ORDAINED:
A part of Lot Two (2) in Block Two (2) of Cotton Yard
Addition to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, according to plat o
said Addition shown in Deed Record "T-5" Page 634, in the office
of the recorder of Independence, County, Arkansas, be, and hereby
is rezoned to the classification of C-2 commercial;
That this ordinance should be published one time in a news-
paper having a general circulation in Indepe7�6'
ence County, Arkansa
