AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE OF FIREWORKS WITHIN THE CITY OF BATESVILLE;
PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES:
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansas:
1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell,
have for sale or expose for sale any roman candle, firecracker or other
fireworks within the city limits of the City of Batesville.
2. Any person, firm or corporation violating Section 1 of this
Ordinance shall be guilty of violation and fined in a sum not to exceed
$100.00 for each offense.
3. That each day that fireworks shall be exposed for sale or offered
for sale shall constitute a separate offense.
