AN ORDINANCE REZONITIG LOTS 6, 7 AND 8, BLOCK
42 IN THE SCHOOL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, the following described lands are located in
the City of Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas, to -wit:
Lot 6, 7 & 8, Block 42, in the School Addition
to the City of Batesville, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Batesville, Arkansas, has recommended to the Batesville City
Council that said lands as described above be zoned R-3;
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the property's
best use is residential and that the property should be zoned
under the classification R-3; and that the general public
interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by said
rezoning.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the lands described herein should be
zoned R-3.
Section 2. A copy of the ordinance duly filed by the
City Clerk shall be filed in the Office of the
Recorder of the County and recorded in the deed
records of the county.
Section 3. It is further declared that an emergency
exists and that this ordinance shall be effective
from and after its passage.
