An Ordinance to Abolish the City Dog License Re-
quirements; Repeal Ordinances in conflict There-
with; Declaring An Emergency; And For Other Pur-
poses.
Be It Ordained By the City Council of Batesville, Arkansas.
1. That the Batesville City Council believes the Ordinances
requiring city residents to purchase dog tags and/or dog
licenses to be antiquated and unduly burdensome ,
mforce
and therefore, abolishes, repeals and nullifies this to enforce,
.
2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed.
3. That this ordinance being necessary for an immediate re-
medy of an enforcement problem, declares an emergency to exist
and states that this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect immediately after its passage.
