S1__7j_ THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AN ORDINANCE REZONING LOTS 6, 7 and 8 OF BLOCK 9 OF MAXFIELD'S EASTERN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS WHEREAS, T. W. COOPER and RUBY DEAN COOPER, his wife, the owners of Lots 6, 7 and 8 of Block 9 of Maxfield's Eastern Addition to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, desire that said lots be rezoned from R-2 residential to C-2 commercial zoning; and WHEREAS, said lots were included in the Tentative Proposal for Rezoning proposed by the Batesville City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held inthe Independence County Courthouse on January 18, 1977, and said proposal discussed at said hearing and all interested parties were invited and allowed to present their views and opinions on said rezoning; and WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing the Batesvillb City Planning Commission made its recommendation to the City Council for the City of Batesville, Arkansas, that said lots, among other lands, be rezoned to C-2 commercial; and t WHEREAS, the present owners now have a use for the 3 property which requires that the lands be rezoned as C-2 commercial and that said rezoning would be in keeping with the prevailing development of the area; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that Lots 6, 7 and 8 of Block 9, Maxfield's Eastern Addition to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, should be and they are hereby rezoned to C-2 commercial a from R-2 residential; that this ordinance should be published for one insertion in a newspaper of general circulation in Batesville, Arkansas. 14 PASSED and APPROVED on this c 1- day of August 1977• ATTEST: Ma vin Smith, City Clerk PeytoVi Golden, Mayor A Applicatior�r A Variance Or Zoning Dict Change 1) Name and Address of Applicant Name and Address of Legal Advisor (if one used) -t 2) Location of Property ,f a.
