AN ORDINANCE RE -ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OF GARY L. ENNIS AND MARY L. ENNIS
FROM I-2 INDUSTRIAL TO COMMERCIAL C-2; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following city property he and the same hereby is rezoned from
I-2 Industrial to Highway Commercial C-2; said property presently owned
by one Gary L. Ennis and Mary L. Ennis and said owners were the petitioners
for said zoning classification change.
2. That the property is described thus, viz:
Commence at the Northwest corner of Block Twelve (12) of Maxfield's
Second Southern Addition to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, at the
intersection of South line of Lawrence Street with the East line of
Allen Street;
thence East and with South line of Lawrence Street for 1308 feet to the
intersection of West line of Ramsey Street;
thence with West line of Ramsey Street in a Southerly direction to the
North R/W line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad;
thence Westerly and with the North R/W line of the Missouri Pacific Rail-
road to the East line of Allen Street;
thence North with East line of Allen Street to the Point of Beginning.
(This being all the lands in Blocks Twelve (12), Thirteen (13), Fourteen
(14), and Fifteen (15) of Maxfield's Second Southern Addition to the City
of Batesville, Arkansas that is North of the Missouri Pacific Railroad).
3. It is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists and that this
ordinance being necessary for the public welfare, it shall be in full force
and effect from the date of its passage.
