!'AN ORDINANCE RE -ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OF BATESVILLE HOUSING
,'AUTHORITY FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL TO R-3 RESIDENTIAL, DECLARING
"SAN EMERGENCY AND OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
!,AS FOLLOWS:
The following city property be and the same hereby is rezoned
jfrom R-2 residential to R-3 residential; said property presently
!;being owned by the Batesville Housing Authority, petitioners
;!for said zoning change.
2. That the legal description of the property is:
Beginning at the intersection of the south line
of College Avenue with the east line of 14th
Street and run thence N86 degrees 15' E 78';
thence S 31 degrees 20' E 243';
thence S 4 degrees 30' E 209';
thence S 85 degrees 30' W 200';
thence N 3 degrees 20' W 423' to the point of
beginning containing 1.62 acres more or less.
,3e That the administrative procedure before the Batesville
Planning Commission has been followed, with due publication
of desired zoning change and a favorable recommendation from
,said Planning Commission has been made.
4. It is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists
and that this ordinance being necessary for the public welfare,

it shall be in full force and effect from the date of its
passage.
