AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY REFERENCE AMENDMENTS AND CHANGES TO EXISTING SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS AND OTHER PURPOSES. Be It Ordained by the City Council of Batesville, Arkansas, as Follows: 1. The city hereby approves and adopts by reference the amendments and changes to the subdivision regulations of Batesville, Arkansas. A.B. - (Amend by substituting this definition) The division of a parcel of land into two or more lots or parcels for the purpose of transfer of ownership or development within the purpose and intent of these regulations. However, a division of land for agricultural purpose into lots or parcel of five acres or more and not involving a new street or public utility extensions shall not be considered a subdivision. III. C. - (Amend by adding following) As a guideline for ascertaining land subject to flooding, the intermediate regional flood level (100 year flood) as determined in the Corps of Engineers May, 1973 study shall be used for those lands in and adjacent to the study area. V. I. - (Expand the first sentence to read) The Planning Commission shall require a topographic map of the subdivision showing original topography with contour intervals at 5' for slopes over 10% and 2' for slopes under 10% if the Planning Commission deems this information is necessary to adequately study the development scheme regarding existing and proposed drainage characteristics. VI. C.2. - (Amend from "County Health Officer to "State Health Department") VI. 3 - (This should be VI. J.) VIII. B. l.j. - (Amend by dropping "City Engineer or County Surveyor" and substitute "City or County Officials".)
