BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. 2 :
AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS FROM R-2 to C-2 CLASSIFICATION, DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY AND OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the following land be and the same hereby is rezoned from
R-2 zoning classification to C-2 zoning classification. Said land
is more particularly described as follows:
A part of the SE a of the NW -1 of Sec. 8, Twp 13 N. R. 6 W describe(
as follows, viz: Commencing at a point 425 links West of the
Southeast corner of the NW; of said section; thence West on a
line between the NW; of the SW; of said section 768 links to
an iron stake in the middle of the public road; thence North
675 links to a point; thence East 750 links to a point; thence
South 675 links to the place of beginning.
2. The city clerk is directed to mark the zoning map to indicate
this change in zoning classification.
3. This ordinance being necessary for the orderly development of
the city and to permit proper economic development an emergency
is hereby declared and this ordiance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
