AN ORDINANCE PROVE NG FOR ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON`.: PORTION OF
ELM STREET DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND OTHER PURPOSES
ORDINANCE N0. -3 G
Be It Ordained By The City Council of Batesville, Arkansas
As Follows:
1. One -Way Traffic Established: From and after
the passage of this ordinance all vehicular traffic on Elm
Street between 9th Street and 11th Street shall be
one-way.
2. Direction of Vehicle Travel: All vehicular
traffic shall proceed from the hwest toward the feast
and it shall be unlawful to travel in a different direction on
the one-way portion of said street.
3. Penalty: A violation of this ordinance shall be
a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine of not less than $5.00
nor more than $100.00 or one day in jail or both.
4. Emergency: Because of the safety of school chil-
dren is involved, an emergency is hereby declared and this ordi-
nance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage.
