ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ABSOLISHING THE BATESVILLE SEWER COMMITTEE; ABOLISHING
THE BATESVILLE WATER COMMISSION, REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES
OR PARTS THEREOF, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. Sewer Committe Abolished:
abolished.
2. Water Commission Abolished:
abolished.
The Batesville Sewer Committee is
The Batesville Water Commission is
3. Conflicting Ordinances or Parts of Ordinances Repealed: All
ordinances or parts of ord nances in conflict with this ordinance
are hereby repealed.
4. Emergency: Because there is a dire need to effect operating
economies and because the water and the sewer system can best
be run as a unit by combining the two agencies an emergency is
hereby declared and this ordi`ance being necessary for the
public welfare shall be in fd%ll force and effect from and
after its passage.
