ORDINANCE NO. <br />ORDINANCE WITH REFERENCE TO REZONING <br />PROPERTY OWNED BY JIM DAVIDSON <br />WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the <br />City of Batesville, Arkansas, pursuant to law has filed <br />its recommendations with the City Council recommending <br />that the following action be made with reference to the <br />proposed reclassification of the property involved herein, <br />that the following described tracts of property owned by <br />Jim Davidson, d/b/a Davco Electronics, to -wit: <br />Tract 1: Commencing at the quarter <br />section corner to Sections 15 and 16, <br />Township 13 North, Range 6 West, thence <br />South 35 feet along the line between <br />said sections to the South right of <br />way line of State Highway 69, then <br />East along the South right of way <br />line of said highway a distance of <br />730 feet to the point of beginning; <br />thence South a distance of 164 feet; <br />thence West a distance of 140 feet; <br />thence North a distance of 164 feet <br />to the South right of way line of <br />Highway 69; thence East along said <br />line a distance of 140 feet to the <br />point of beginning. <br />Tract 2: Beginning at the quarter <br />section corner to Sections 15 and 16, <br />Township 13 North, Range 6 West, thence <br />South 35 feet along the line between <br />said sections to the South line of <br />State Highway 69, thence East along <br />the South right of way line of said <br />highway a distance of 450 feet; thence <br />South a distance of 150 feet to the <br />point of beginning; thence East a distance <br />of 140 feet; thence South a distance of <br />150 feet; thence West a distance of 140 <br />feet; thence North a distance of 150 <br />feet to the point of beginning. <br />that Tract 1 be classified as commercial zoning district <br />C-2; that Tract 2 be classified as commercial zoning <br />district C-2; and that said proposed change would be to <br />the best interest of the City of Batesville; <br />
