as follows:
1. From and after the passage of this ordinance all
fees payable to the poundmaster of the City of Batesville from
the licensing of dogs shall be payable on a 12 months basis,
as set forth in this ordinance.
2• The City Clerk shall receive all fees from the
licensing of dogs. On the first day of Pay of each year the
clerk will determine time amount of money collected from the
licensing of dogs the previous 12 months. This arou:,L. ;;:call
be payable to the poundmaster monthly as folio, -7s: One -
twelfth of the amount shall be paid each month to the pound -
master.

4. Because of the need to adjust the finance of
the city in reference to dog licenses and to provide just com-
pensation to the poundmaster, an emergency is hereby declared
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
