AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE SOUTHERN STANDARD HOUSING CODE
THE 1965 EDITION PRESCRIBING MINIMUM STANDARDS OF HOUSING
IN THE CITY OF BATESVILLE. j
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Bates-
ville, Arkansas;
SECTION 1. ADOPTION OF THE SOUTHERN STANDARD HOUSING CODE.
There is hereby adopted in full the Southern Standard Hous
ing Code, 1965 edition and the whole thereof and the same is
hereby adopted and incorporated by reference herein as though
set out fully word for word. Three (3) copies of said code are
now on file in the office of the Clerk in the City of Batesville;
Arkansas. The provisions of said code will be controlling with-
in the limits of the City of Batesville, Arkansas.
SECTION 2, EMERGENCY CLAUSE
An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordin-
ance being necessary for the safety and welfare cf the persons
of Batesville, shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage.
