AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND THE
MEMBERS THEREOF AND OTHER PURPOSES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO
EXIST, AND AMENDING PRESENT ZONING REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO-JNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATE SVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: Board of Adjustment - Members. Art. IV,
Sec. l(a) of the Zoning Regulations of the City of Batesville as
adopted by Ordinance 686 Sec. l(b) is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"A Board of Adjustment is hereby established which shall
consist of the members of the Batesville Planning
Commission."
Section 2: Emergency Clause. Because of pending matters
before the Board of Adjustment and because no Board of Adjustment
has heretofore been appointed, an emergency is therefore declared
and this ordinance being necessary for the public peace, health,
safety and welfare shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
