HomeMy WebLinkAbout747ORDINANCE NO. ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE RE -ZONING OF PROPERTY OWNED BY P. F. LINDSEY AND NITA M. LINDSEY, HIS WIFE. WHEREAS, The Batesville Planning Commission of the City of Batesvi Arkansas, pursuant to law has filed its recommendations with the Batesville Ci Council recommending that Lot 8 in Block 45 of the School Addition to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, owned by P. F. Lindsey and Nita M. Lindsey, his wife, be re-classified as Residential and that said proposed change would be to the best interest of the City of Batesville. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Batesville City Council adopts the report and recommendation of the Batesville Planning Commission as above set forth and that Lot 8 in Block 45 of the School Addition to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, be, and the same is, re-classified under the applicable zoning law and regulations to the classifi- cation of Residential Property. Section 2. The City Clerk shall cause the City Zoning Map to note the change as above set forth. Section 3. There is hereby found and declared to be an immediate need for the re-classification above set forth for the benefit of the public health, safety and welfare of the City of Batesville, Arkansas, and particularly the area affected hereby. NOW, THEREFORE, It is declared an emergency exists and that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of public health, safety and welfare, and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage.
